Research and development of CVD lab-grown SCDs

In 2002, ZS-Tech embarked on the research and development of CVD lab-grown singular crystalline diamonds (SCD), and pioneered the world-leading MPCVD technique.

Upgrades in quality, yield and fire

Over 12 years, ZS-Tech accomplished the diamonds grown on the CVD seed crystal, industrial-grade rough diamonds, and jewelry-grade CVD SCDs from labs, with great improvements in quality, yield and fire.

Wide applications to jewelry field

ZS-Tech successfully solved the plight of mass production of diamond growth and realized the commercialized operation. Our SCDs weigh 3 carats, graded G color and VS1 clarity. They can be widely used in sophisticated jewelry.

Diamonds have a broad prospect of applications in optics because they have many excellent characteristics: high hardness (non-abrasive optical lens), high transmittance in a long-wavelength infrared light band (at room temperature), highest thermal conductivity at room temperature, superior chemical stability, and high resistance against thermal shock. The optical-quality CVD monocrystal diamonds can be widely used in aviation, military, scientific research equipment and other aspects, including CO2 laser windows (10.6 microns), high power microwave windows, among others. Recently, a CVD diamond “Magic Princess” which was submitted for inspection by ZS-Tech, was rated as the world’s largest CVD diamond according to a report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The diamond-set a new world record.
